About the band
Cristian "Poyo" Moya, together with Oriol Fontanals on double bass and Reginald Vilardell on drums created the POYO MOYA TRIO in early 2020. After recording the album "My Best Blues Piano" and touring around Spain to present the CD, they were soon joined by the Austrian-Irish vocalist Patrick O'Brien. Together they transport you back to the golden age of Blues and Swing and make you feel like you are sitting in a Juke Jive, a drink in your hand and tapping your leg to the music if you’re not already on the dancefloor. Patrick's voice transports you to a time of Swing, Blues, Honky Tonk and that good ol' Rhythm'n'Blues that gets you on your feet!
Together they have already made their mark in Catalonia's music scene, playing at Nova Jazz Cava, Festival de Pedralbes, La Traviesa, Andorra, Rubí and many more to come.Cristian ‘Poyo’ Moya – piano
